Thee NEWCO Band
Thee NEWCO Band, or simply NEWCO, is a country music band out of Newton County, Arkansas. They have been in the business of killing it on stage since 2020. Comprised entirely of lifelong residents of Northern Arkansas, NEWCO lie on the periphery of both the Appalachian scene and the Texas/Oklahoma Red Dirt Scene. And they have a sound representative of that. Country? Red Dirt? Shred Dirt? NEWCO aren’t concerned about any genre tag attached to them, so long as they are delivering red hot tunes. These boys are living life like a story’s told
and singing of their tales along the way.
Trayson Hicks
They call him the Boone County Bandit. No doubt Trayson writes his songs from a long history
of stolen hearts. As vocalist and guitarist for NEWCO, he presents the ultimate double threat.
He will sing you to tears accompanied by his acoustic guitar, or will melt your face with a solo
from his telecaster.
Walker Robinson
They call him “Raindance Robinson.” Why? Well, we’re not sure. But lord knows he could use a
rainstorm to cool down his smoking guitar after a solo. Walker’s been known to sing a song or
two as well and has songwriting chops that go well beyond his years.
Dawson Hicks
Brother to frontman Trayson, Dawson’s influences range anywhere from Primus to Skrillex. Safe
to say the man has bass coursing through his veins.
Dalton Brantley
An electrician by trade, it’s no surprise that Dalton delivers truly electric performances on stage.
Whether he’s a holding a steady train beat or unleashing an onslaught of Rock n’ Roll fury,
Dalton can play it all and does so firmly in the pocket.
